Community Groups:
At Jacob's Well we are more concerned with investing in people and
creating an authentic
Christ-centered Community than we are with building
an organization. We don't measure
success by attendance, revenues, and
building projects. We measure success by lives changed
and relationships
built. We believe that being part of a community
group is one of the most important thing that a Christ-Follower can do. Community Groups are where authentic relationships are built, where we learn to carry each others burdens, and where real
spiritual growth happens!
At Jacobs Well we are starting new community
groups all the time. Our goal is to have community groups that meet across southwest Houston at various times and places. To find out more about getting involved in a community group email us at

Volunteer Opportunities:
Because we are just getting started there is plenty of need for new volunteers.
We envision building an interdependent community in which people serve according to their giftedness and passions. The staff at Jacob's Well will focus on supporting and training leaders and empowering them to lead the church in the work of ministry. Service Projects:
As an aunthentic and missional community of Christians we desire to follow
not only of the teachings of Jesus, but also the way of Jesus. We want to sacrifically serve others in need. Ephesians 2:10 teaches us that as Christians, we are created for good works which God has prepared in advance for us to do. At Jacob's Well we take that calling very seriously and are committed to doing good by serving others at home and around the world. begining in the Fall of 2007 we will provide regular service opportunities and projects for anyone who is interested in doing good in this world. please check back for more details.
